CAS 420 - AUTOCLAVE OVEN

The CAS 420 autoclave oven is a versatile system that has many application possibilities and options. The standard system is designed and used for sulphite and sulphate cooking and for oxygen bleaching. Agitation and temperature are precisely controlled. The individual autoclaves can be removed and put back into the system during operation for discharge or refill. Each autoclave can be monitored independently for time, temperature and chemical addition. The autoclaves can be of individual size.

Applications
  • General chemical treatment of solidsand liquids at elevated temperatures and pressures
  • Pulping of wood chips and non-wooden fiber material
  • Hydrogen peroxide and oxygen bleaching
Features
  • Variable size and number of autoclaves
  • Rotation rpm- and temperature control including ramping and rapid cooling
  • Temperature may be individually measured in the autoclaves and logged
  • Individual H-factor calculation and logging
  • PC-control with visualization of the process and graphs

  • Gas can be supplied to the autoclaves or removed during operation to maintain or change the pressure
