The reactor system series CRS 1000 is a versatile and multi-purpose system that has many application possibilities. The system has a flexible and modular design to meet individual needs in configuration, size and material. It has various reactor modules, gas- and liquid injection modules and control modes. Reactor modules are easily interchanged and the stirring capacity can easily be altered. New operation devices and sensors are directly introduced through the reactor lid, wall or bottom. The system is flexible small scale facility for design of chemical processes, development of heavy duty agitation processes (fiber suspensions and high viscosity mixtures) and pilot plant operation and small scale production of chemicals. Documentation and safety fulfill industrial standards.

Features:
- Reactor vessel quicky exchangable with other sizes, material and heating / cooling procedures
- High power stirrer drive combined with a selection of stirrers for highly viscous suspensions or glandless power transmission in hermetic shaft-house
- Rpm (level, start and stop) has manual or automatic control
- Stirrers and turbines are easily exchangable
- Temperature control including ramping. A special temperature element inside the vessel for logging of fast and precise local values
- Pressure control for the reactor head pressure to accomplish pressure gradients versus time

- Liquid injection is unit operation. Two different liquids can be injected intermittently and consecutively with desired amounts and at a set time schedule. The injection range can be altered by quick replacement of infusion cylinders. All dosings are performed with zero dead volume. The actual liquid injections are logged.
- Typical safety devices are safety valve, interlocks for dangerous operation, hardware protection, software routines to prevent out of range experiments.
- Sampling, charge, discharge of small liquid samples can be accomplished through regular sampling valves. Other samplings (suspensions and large liquid amounts) need special valve arrangement.
- A range of optional in-situ sensors can be used such as pH-electrodes, fiber optic sensor for absorbance/transmittance spectroscopy
- Manual and Computer Control by switching and typing values on the PC or automatically by setting a recipy and running the the process according to the recipy. Logging of process values and injections as well as visualization is always accomplished. Versions without PC are available.
- Database logging and handling
- Stand with fixed motor and lid. Reactor vessel movable sideways and elevated by winch or by electrical motor. Reactor stand bench or wall mounted, for larger models bolted to floor in a vented cabinet.
- Ozone System for generation of high weight% and high pressure (0-15 bar), fast injection and destruction.
