The CRS multipurpose pulping systems are designed to simulate all known pulping processes, including organo-solv pulping, with true concentration and temperature profiles as well as realistic flow profiles. The geometries of reactors and peripherals are chosen to give good and reproducible mill flow conditions in the chip bed.
The recycle systems are modular with several operation modes. Valve operation reconfigures the flow-sheet into other process modes.![]() Application The CRS Pilot Digester is designed to perform optimization experiments and simulations under mill scale conditions.
