SIDE-STREAMER

The side-streamer is a control concept for long-term process improvement. The philosophy is to look at a lab reacto as an instrument for measuring properties as chemical demand, reaction rate, process quality etc. This particular reactor/instrument is located in the production environment and operated parallel and slightly ahead in time of the production. The result from the side-streamer operation is fed back to the production control. Such a system is self-educating and will gradually improve the quality of the information.
